Blast From the Past

This is one of the last remaining 1950’s era neon signs in the Greater Vancouver area, and possibly the only ‘action’ sign.

Once the sign for a children’s clothing store called Helen’s, it was saved from the dust bin and repurposed as the symbol of a distinct shopping and residential neighborhood in the suburb of Burnaby.
