Flower Friday - The Last Rose

This rose bush is always the first to flower each year and the last to finish flowering.  This is the last one for this year.  It is starting to fade so I thought that if I don't blip it for this week's Flower Friday I will have missed the chance.

My dedication to blipping knows no bounds, as I went out in the wind and rain this afternoon to get this shot.  It is in the border right outside the conservatory, but the flowers always face down the garden instead of towards the window.  Hence the trip outside in the cold and rain.
