Havana seemed to me to be a place of contrasts. Beautifully restored buildings next to crumbling ruins.

The rebuilding and restoration in the Plaza Vieja was really impressive and it was the last stop on our wander between the squares of the old town.

On a warm day, the café on the corner was a great place to relax. They roast their own fabulous coffee. And like everywhere in Havana, where a few people gather, the music is never far away.
