Parting Shot
Glad at last of some better weather and a little sunshine, we decided to take a trip to Chartwell, home of Winston Churchill.
We had a lovely walk around the gardens and met Jock. Churchill had requested that there would always be a ginger cat called Jock at Chartwell and so that's how it is.
When our visit was complete, and we were heading out to the car, I could hear a very vocal robin. He was sitting in the bushes and attracting quite a crowd. He began to feel his audience was getting too close, so he hopped onto a fence post and continued his song from there.
Great finale to a lovely day out.
