3rd Attempt

This is the third attempt to produce an image with my egg timer for my photography group's "Time" topic. The biggest problem is the lighting, trying not to get massive reflections of the light obscuring everything else. This is with a studio light reflected off a wall & with a polarising filter to try to soften the highlights. It's better than the two previous attempts, though the line of crystals/sand going into the lower chamber hasn't got enough light on it. It's also a stack of 8 images.

I was also unsure of the best background - the wooden case for the timer is curved so looks odd anyway - this time I've used an extract about cooking eggs by one of the board members of our local football team. Probably infringing copyright!!
