Twilight in London

Today we were in London to attend a Christmas lunch at Cutlers' Hall for members  of our Livery Company's social committee, both present and (as in my case)past. Lovely to meet up with old friends again.
Rather a trial getting  there and back, as two  rail tracks closed near Woking for urgent footbridge repairs and  management  of a nearby landslip, meant few trains were running, and those that were, were extra busy!  At least it was a dry, sunny day, after yesterday. 
Blip is of the  London Eye as we walked back to Waterloo from the City and  the extra shows the  view from the  South Bank looking towards the City skyline above Blackfriars Bridge.
