Rainbow day

There are days when you drag yourself out of bed half heartedly wondering if the days itinery is what you want to be doing!
Then something changes; as happened today!
First was hidden in the mountain of bills and junk mail : a wee envelope with a thank you card inside ,sweet, delightful and unexpected!
And so welcome!
Already the days prospects seemed brighter!
Then the clouds vanished and the Flaming June of legend was a distinct possibility.
However, the afternoon was booked to a Diabetes seminar.....groan!
But it turned out to be great ; the specialist nurse when she appeared was someone I knew ,whose sense of humour is magic......so we had a very enjoyable time with her.and the crack was flying! (yes ,I know, diabetes is serious stuff!!)
Then, when I got home, I got a phone call from someone I thought I had lost!
Which was soooo nice.
Then up the hill with Max for his walk ;who had been in the house all afternoon.
Lay in the lovely warm evening sun on top of the hill for 30mins..............sod the chores!!
All it needs now is a spectacular sunset............but thats just being greedy!! :-)
