Echoes of another place

Orchids in the garden, reminding me of the wild ones I have seen at home and (especially) abroad. These are Dactylorhiza, Marsh Orchids, which can seed around freely in gardens where the right conditions exist. The key word for these is 'Marsh', they like moist places. Needless to say they have not yet self seeded here on a dry soil in a dry part of the country :( but I live in hope. Mine came from friends who have the right conditions. They seem happy enough, flowering every year, so maybe if I am patient .............
