Big day for Jude!

The heavy rain started about the time Grace got in from the concert at the Royal Albert Hall - 3.00 am! On the second floor we can hear the rain on the Velux window. 

Awoke to quite a wild morning though it has brightened up now but so good we went to the Christmas markets yesterday. 
Grace has been putting up decorations and trimming the tree with ‘help’ from the girls this morning.

John was upstairs sorting out Jude’s bedroom for today’s main event - Jude is moving into a proper bed. With no imperative to move her out of the cot she has been very happy staying but she is getting too heavy to lift in there.

This picture is taken just after John finished reorganising her bedroom with the new bed and you can see she is thrilled. It only has the cot mattress and duvet on in the picture but she got new bedding today which she spent much of the morning  playing with but it’s now in the wash together with the full mattress cover.
The cover and pillowcase has fishes on one side and waves on the other, you can see in the extra which side she prefers!

Hope she sleeps well in it tonight.  We’re hoping for a chilled evening with Strictly and a curry!

She’s got her mattress and wavy sheets on now so ready for her first night!
