Winter colours…
are sometimes surprisingly attractive, as here on the moor. There was a strange cloud effect that I failed to capture, searchlights radiating from the horizon up to a cloud. Warm again and the loch was open , apart from a rattle of ice blown into the corner of the bay. Goldeneye were bathing and Grouse strutted along looking nervous. Raven and Buzzard were calling.
At home, the Goldfinches seemed to discover something edible on the grass now that the snow has gone, as there was a whole flock of them feeding. Woodpeckers and Longtailed Tits were active.
