Porkful Freezer

Well, that’ll be us not having to buy bacon or sausages for a while….

The freezer is full, and there’s overspill into the house. Some lessons learned on being more clear (in our own minds) what we want. We’ve joints and fantastic looking pork belly rolls and houghs and diced shoulder. But waaaay too much bacon, sausages and lorne sausage. I mean WAY too much. 

Some of that is cos they don’t appear to have stuck entirely to the request list. But also because we had no real idea how much meat you get off a pig. We do now. It’s bloody loads.
