Eye Of Horus

... In fact it is the fourth arch of Dinham Bridge, over the River Teme, in Ludlow.

There are three main arches,  and this smaller one which spans the mill stream as it exits the weir and runs under the mill. The working mill wheel can be seen through an iron gate in the wall of the mill house. The stream then reconnects with the Teme a hundred yards downriver.

After a night of atrocious weather we have had a day of sporadic showers and very strong winds.

Not much else done today, although D has braved the elements to cement in five kerbs as part of the drive rebuild where the car enters the garage.

And daughter Ell has cooked a delicious spaghetti bolognaise for the four of us.

My first plated meal for a week, and much appreciated.

I would really like it if we could have some nice weather. This unrelenting grey clag, wind and rain is too much.
