‘Showing the Way’

Another dark morning at parkrun today, but at least the parkrun fairy did her work, and the rain held off until after everyone had finished!

Here’s Susan, the event director, giving the briefing to the first timers - a few minutes before the start - explaining the route and pointing out any hazards on the way. 

Many first-timers are parkrun tourists, and the yellow t-shirts often have the name of their ‘home’ parkrun written on them. All part of the parkrun community!
