Pirouettes galore ...

......at Scottish Ballet's Cinders! which had its premier tonight. 

We really enjoyed the performance (and front row seats in the dress circle were an added treat).

In this version the principal dancers alternate between playing Cinders or the Prince/Princess and tonight we had a male Cinders who captured the attention of the Princess who tracked him down. It worked well. 

Instead of two ugly sisters we had three gauche siblings who did some very clever comic turns. 

Glasgow was busy when we arrived and was still busy as we walked back to our hotel.  Quite a lot going on - ballet, panto, winter wonderland plus usual Saturday night activities.
