City Beach

We went to Brisbane early for Sunday breakfast at Southbank. They have a large "beach" area complete with Lifesavers (seen here reporting for work across the water). Seagulls (foreground) have even been "fooled" into believing this is a real beach.It certainly makes for a great pace to escape the city summer for those living in Brisbane (approx. 80km to the south of the Sunshine Coast). The Brisbane River can just be seen below the buildings, beyond Southbank.
