Scotland Tour - Day 8

Day eight saw us heading down round the Kintyre peninsula.

The weather was pretty dreicht on the way down with wind and rain but as luck would have it the clouds broke as we arrived at Westport Beach where the Atlantic waves were breaking on the golden sands.

We then headed down to Machrihanish before crossing to the East coast and Campbeltown.

The drive back up the East took us to Carradale for a spot of lunch and then back through Tarbert and on to Ardrishaig where we stopped at the lagoon above the sea loch. I liked the reflection in this picture.

Dinner in the Argyle Hotel in Lochgilphead brought an end to another great day.
