Decided to go out in the car and avoid the forecast rain so headed out to a craft fair first but we were too early and so went straight over to St Boswells to browse in the deli/ bookshop and have coffee. A came to meet us there - lovely to see her and help plan her chocolate log baking. It had started to rain heavily by then so we went back to the craft fair. Had a nice look around and a chat to someone about Mr Finch and his models , and a nice late lunch of soup . Went home via the supermarket, watched a film and wrote Christmas cards. Drove very slowly through the crowds in the pouring rain to Hazelh’s party, though we couldn’t stay long as we had tickets for the Traverse to see Mark Thomas. Very intense and moving performance. Got home lateish but caught up with Strictly. Shame that the rain kept us inside but we had a nice day anyway.
