Slim pickings

We drove to Ballina this afternoon, for a choral concert in St Mary's Church. The choir was Vox Caldera, a very talented local group. 

Afterwards we had dinner with friends who live nearby, close to North Creek. At low tide, I photographed this Pied Oystercatcher searching for food in tidal pools on the sand flats.
