Topper

Out shopping this morning.  Weird anyway, but more so for a Saturday, especially when we have a gaming group in.

The game they are all playing is not the type we we go for so we're only operating as 'staff' rather than players, which does mean we can get on with various other tasks in the meantime.

Including shopping - which occupied a fair chunk of my day, pleasantly little of which relates to Christmas, especially now that we're using a lowish-budget Secret Santa process within the family.

Tried to take a parcel to a sub post office, only to find it being rebuilt (or demolished - it was difficult to tell) but it did have this impressive post-box-topper outside and a queue of photo-takers.

Picked up a couple of new charity shop DVDs.  Those under 40 may laugh but it keeps me in blockbusters at a tenth of the price of Netflix.
