Down by the river

A walk along the river Wharfe in Wetherby this afternoon was out of the question, unless I wanted to swim. I couldn't go in the opposite direction either - see extra.
There was a lot of rain last night and more forecast today, so I expect it will get a bit higher.
There were warning signs that the car park is liable to flooding and the water was already up to the edge of the car park, but that didn't seem to be deterring motorists from parking there.
