Fairy slopes

D and I are both ill with colds but that meant avoiding a family gathering (yay!) and getting a day off together. 

It was a rainy morning but cleared up towards the afternoon, so we took a wellie-clad walk around the lake and played in the puddles for a while.

I got my Christmas cards posted, then we came home and played a couple of games. I spent the evening sewing while we watched a couple more episodes of our current series.

Apart from the colds, it was a very cosy, fun day.
