Into the mist
We left Glasgow this morning and called in to see Mrs M's other brother before leaving the conurbation. It began to rain lightly as we drove away; we'd decided to cut across country via the Stockiemuir Road, leaving Milngavie and heading towards Drymen at the SE corner of Loch Lomond and thence along the southern shore to Balloch. Very familiar territory in our old Ross Priory days.
Picking up the A82 we drove north along our usual route home; by this time the rain was heavy and the hills covered in mist. We stopped at Tarbert for a bacon roll and a cuppa at the café and my Blip today is of the view from the car park - it's not normally like this! We continued up the Rest and Be Thankful - free from landslides at the moment!
Home in Oban before 3pm - the rain had almost stopped. The forecast for the next few days isn't great, though some sunshine might come along tomorrow!
