Evening stroll..

to the lighthouse

Whilst I am in a wonderful place not all is going to plan. I did manage to get the paints out which was fun and have dealt with a lot of workmen fixing things in the house so not everything is going pear shaped. I took a wonderful walk out to the lighthouse this evening just as the sun came out for the first time today. I was amazed at the bird life on the long grasses on the point. Unfortunately I didn't take my tripod so none off the photos were that crisp but I spotted and identified several Reed Buntings and Linnets. The air was full of bird song and birds flitting from stem to stem of the tall grasses there. I have never seen a Reed Bunting before so it was exciting. I plan to take the tripod there tomorrow and see if I can get a better shot.
