The Singing Detective

With ninety minutes to spare before our 3pm invite to friends in our village, I had a drive to get out and take a blipfoto. The charming village of Berry Hill, in the Forest of Dean (Gloucestershire) is one I like a lot as it has loads of amenties including The Globe public house with fabulous 'Singing Detective' mural on its side plus a dark blue phone box converted to a 'defib' centre.  The blipfoto shows it off nicely.

The extra shows the front page of the menu that our friends had printed out for me and Mrs BB. Nigel and Deborah are well known for their invites and the selection of food and drinks put on just for us was amazing. Their house had lovely christmas trees and decorations that they made themselves and sitting infront of the log burner and christmas lights with gin to hand is heaven - before we retired to the dining room for the feast!  I'm stuffed. A great start to the season!
