Christmas lights

A very wet, grey day on which I did very little. I did go up to the National Gallery in the afternoon to meet my brother, niece and others as it was my niece's 15th birthday today. The plan had been to spend the afternoon at the Gallery and then go out for dinner in the evening. Unfortunately my niece was not feeling well and was really not herself so they just had to go home. That meant it was a fairly brief visit to the Gallery. I did have a rather expensive cup of tea and scone in the cafe. I wasn't feeling wonderful myself so in some ways was happy to head home after that. Blip is of the Edinburgh Christmas lights through the rain, taken from the entrance to the National Gallery.
