A thank you would-be nice!

All the rain has raised our pond's water level high.  I don't think the nearby stream will flood over though.  The wild ducks are happily swimming around.most afternoons. I am throwing some nibbles for them each day. They never say thank you but swim away as soon as they catch sight of me walking down the garden.  That's gratitude for you!
