Gone To Seed

Judging from the remains of the foliage, I think it’s a forgotten artichoke. I took a short walk over to the community garden plots just to stretch my legs this afternoon. A few folks still have active plots—lots of kale and lettuce—but most people have let things go for the winter.

I’ve finished the indoor tree and the outdoor lights, and tonight I remembered to put out the Christmas napkins for dinner. Now I’ve got to look for someplace to sing carols.
