Dog in blanket

V has a Pendleton blanked which chimes in with his time in the South West of America, they are beautifully made and although. not quite my thing they add a seam of warm Americana in our house.  Plus they set off the dog beautifully. 

Rainy day but I managed to walk down to get the papers in a relatively clear patch.   It was gusty and groups of crows/jackdaws were mobbing two big kites over the pumpkin field, which had an apocalyptic vibe.  

I spent the morning doing household chores.  After lunch V and I went to the QA hospital as he had a procedure to be done (nice for Sunday afternoon) which wasn’t as bad as we thought it could be and didn’t take so long, so we were home for tea!
