Long John silver and other pirates

I saw this pub sign this evening and it really made me chuckle. I'm sure it is not politically correct but it is funny nonetheless.

Speaking of pirates, I feel like I've been robbed on the high seas today. Loads of tradesmen landed invoices on me. Funny how my windows were 2 months behind schedule but my bill became "overdue" in 4 days! My enterprising (and crazy) neighbour decided my building work is responsible for a problem with their drain pipe and hit me with a bill for 30 quid. In their shoes, I'd have a bit less brass neck and a bit more pride. However, for the sake of neighbourhood harmony I shall pay up. I may as well, I have my wallet out for everyone else.

Good day at work today. Lots of laughs along the way. Choir practice this evening, Barbara Anne is growing in me.... a bit.
