Burt - the Hit Machine

Just came home after a wonderful evening with Burt Bacharach. Fantastic concert, what an amazing composer/hit maker! 85 years old and still producing and touring. It's just astonishing how many of the evergreens we here all the time he has composed.

The last few days have been very festive musically; check out my encounter with Rod on Sunday here, here and here. Great entertaining concert (but only one song from Every Picture Tells a Story, and nothing from the Faces period).
