cherry picking

Breakfasted, got my office space sorted, did some washing and cleaning, round to the shop to get a few groceries and to take stuff to the recycling depot. Exciting!

Took dad over to Mirabel and chatted to mum for a bit. We sorted out her iTunes so that it's in the UK as opposed to in France. She was sick of the choice of stuff she had, so it's much better now.

Called in to Weldom on my way home and got a new hanging basket for the mint plants I have and also some spray paint. Mum and dad got me a 'J' made of metal at a troc (a bit like a bric a brac) recently in Avignon and I wanted to paint it green. Did that tonight after dinner (and after trying to work out for about an hour how to work the bloody aerosol thing - we definitely weren't graffiti artists in a past life!)

The heat was stifling today, so I decided to go to the river this afternoon. Just went in the shallow bit (as there were a couple swimming in the buff up at the swimming hole, so I didn't bother going up there!).

Helped dad in the garden afterwards....watered like mad. Then, we treated ourselves to a load of cherries off Lucienne's tree - so bloody good. Took a few pics on the way back along the path...on a big bale of lucerne with Leo. Really hard to choose today's image.
