Tree '22

It must  have continued to snow overnight and we woke up to a nice layer of snow. We didn’t seem to have too much disruption on the trains.  PY went into the office, which is very rare these days. In spite of a frustrating day at work - including some internal prep for a customer meeting which seems to be being driven by somebody who won’t properly understand what the customer’s requirement is - I continue to feel festive. 

The Christmas tree has been up since last week before we went to The Island. We’ll be away this year so we opted to use the artificial tree.  It’s PYs turn to decide on the theme and we’ve gone with a silver colour this year.  It looked a bit bare last week, but I picked up some additional silver decorations on The Island and added them this morning. It’s started to look a little fuller. I am not sure if he will notice.

In the evening, a short walk to Waitrose for some bits for dinner.
