Golden light

Lovely to have some sunshine on our walk this afternoon ...... it was rather blustery but not cold :-)

There is a lot of water in the ditches again ..... the path up onto the riverbank was very muddy so we didn't venture up to see the river but I've no doubt it was high! Far too much rain recently!

As we wandered back the sun was dipping low in the sky & the light was beautiful :-)

Spotted this Collared Dove perched high on the wire bathed in sunshine ..... just had to be my blip :-)

As we neared home the wind became stronger & shortly after we got indoors it started blowing a gale, heralding the arrival of Storm Elin .... good timing as I think we would been blown away! Lol
