Bygone times

A visit to the National Trust property Standen today, a belated birthday treat.
Lovely to see the rooms as they would have looked in the late nineteenth century, together with lots of beautiful Christmas trees. 
One tree was accompanied by a ticket visitors could hang on it with their request for what they would like Santa to bring them. Mine’s the extra.
