Lake Pukaki

We had a beautiful drive home today, taking the Tekapo route instead of Kurow as the roads were flooded that way.
Our friends Paul and Rachel are staying tonight so we called in to the Salmon farm and bought a very nice Salmon fillet for our meal.
The lake looked very eire with cloud and fog coming and going from the other end of the lake you couldn't see any of the mountains certainly not Mt Cook, which was a shame for all the visitors peering towards it and taking photos anyway, but as we drove further along the fog was gone and the clouds were reflecting in the lake along with the snowy mountains.
We have eaten the salmon and it was very tasty!
