The Louvre

Today we went to the Louvre. We didn't get there until early afternoon since we had to double back to pick up a passport left at a previous lunch...
Not mine don't worry. The Louvre was cracking. We had a great tour guide who knew heaps and was quite an animated French character who stuck his pointing baton into half of the photos taken. Saw the Mona Lisa which was quite underwhelming as expected but still great. The statues were pretty cracking. We didn't get through the whole Louvre but it was still lovely to admire some of the lovely rooms and art. 
The trip is nearly over and most of us are starting to run pretty thin. Anyway, to ease the tension and just take a break we all went to maccas for dinner and it was absoluetely great.
