First Chalk of Summer

A remnant from yesterday which looks to have weathered fairly well overnight, though the colours come across as more vibrant in the picture than they did in this morning's sunlight. This spot at the end of Princes Street is a favourite with pavement artists, though the artists have to share the space with pan pipers, bongo drummers and other assorted musicians as the summer goes on.
