His Nibbs
Trying to think of something tiny to blip on a Tuesday I spotted my old fountain pen. Not exactly used a lot these days but the gold nib should make a half decent macro.
It wasn’t until I took a couple of shots illuminated with a Cree torch that I realised just how scratched the nib was (see extra). Logical when you think about it as the gold plate will be quite soft, so years of wiping will leave its mark.
I wanted to get today's blip done and dusted as sadly we have another funeral to go to. This time a friend and neighbour lost her son in similar circumstances to Mark back in June.
