Christmas baubles

We had epic rain this morning, a real cloud bust where it came down in torrents! Thankfully I was indoors at the pet store buying Xena's food when it happened and Xena was out with P the dog walker - he said he usually loves his job but today was the wettest walk he has ever done, and it was miserable conditions. Xena came home soaked to the bone, and not impressed!

This is the worst kind of winter weather, poor light and wet all day. Still, it's really only December and January that are like this. I did not feel like taking photos outdoors so the Christmas tree came to the rescue!

Tonight is our camera club Christmas dinner at an Italian restaurant. We have all pre-ordered and pre-paid. Usually it's on a Monday which is the same night of the week that the club meetings are held, and Gavin was booked to come with me (as partners are welcome). However the date was changed to Tuesday and Gavin has his own function tonight so he could no longer come with me. Tommy is away for this week staying at Inca's house as she has an equine placement near her home, so the house is very quiet. 

I started watching The Tailor on Netflix, its not bad.
