Wedding cake prep

The wedding cake prep has begun in earnest!

Yesterday I made the lemon curd, two of the lemon sponges, the strawberry jam, the four vanilla sponges and the vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream.

Just the lemon buttercream and two more lemon sponges to go.

All the sponges will spend at least one night in the freezer to help sturdy them up before decorating making decor a smoother process!
