Festive lights

Today I had lunch with my dear friend C  We started early and had fairly meagre portions as I had a further dinner date with Mr MC and our friends A and B this evening.  At lunchtime, the portions might have been quite small but we still managed a small bottle of prosecco in honour of the festive season.  We took a taxi to and from the evening dinner and on our return home I took this phone photo of our ever increasing number of lights.  There is one decoration missing though: the panel over the porch.  We were trying to put it up when Mr MC put his foot through the porch roof.  Fortunately P the builder (and forest verderer) has been and quoted and assured us that he will be able to come before Christmas so the lights panel should be able to go up after all!
