Song Thrush
Supposed to be a dry day,but there's some very persistent light rain in the morning coming off the North Sea. Cold walk at lunchtime. Can see Fife, but not in high definition. Walking through White Lady Wood, I surprised a Song Thrush. It didn't immediately fly off, giving me time to get the camera out from under the coat and get a nice photo.
Some quite heavy rain showers in the afternoon, right up to the time for the afternoon walk. Quite dry at the start, so feeling optimistic, we pick our way through muddy puddles to head down to Braidburn Valley Park. There is a little light rain, so we turn back early, but seeing as its pitch black at 4:30pm, not a bad idea.
