finally aligned schedules with Jeff the Analogue King to get my 120 film negatives scanned in. take a look! still working out the ins and outs of this device (and the thing clearly has a minor light leak), but some interesting results herein. between scans, I got to browse his enormous collection of old film cameras, as well as peruse his incredible archive of film images--old car shows, American road trips (think vintage roadside motels), concerts. the man has skill. and their place is a mid-century collector's dream. thanks for having me over, man!

in other news: Leah's down in Austin for a brief family trip and I'm cooking away on the French. and tomorrow we have lunch planned with the new department chair. that's all, folks.
