#14
From 1966, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, is #14 on the Top 25 Holiday Films of All Time per AV Club. Originally an animated TV special directed by Chuck Jones, based on the 1957 children’s book of the same name by Dr Seuss. Boris Karloff is both the narrator and the voice of Grinch • Trivia: most attribute the song You’re A Mean One, Mr Grinch, to Karloff but it’s actually Thurl Ravenscroft; his name was mistakenly left off the closing credits • This was MrsP’s childhood favorite, and still is, I’d say. She’s always been enamored with Whoville and all of its citizens! • I took advantage of the “no snow” landscape and hung two strings of solar lights around a big window on the side of the house. It should look festive tonight with candles in the window, plus solar lights on the fence, and Fat Baby, of course • This is a shot of our main street @3pm while MrsP was in the post office • Peace & Love
