At Home in Wimpole Hall

Today it was much warmer than last week so I was able to relax and enjoy the more informal atmosphere that Christmas brings to the house,  

In the morning I was sent to the basement which was fun, explaining about a hydraulic lift which was installed for a short time.

After lunch I was sent to the room shown in my blip.  Not huge crowds but a comfortable number wanting to enjoy the Christmas decorations.  I spent half an hour with a young dad who had brought his 1 year old little girl to look at the pretty lights while his wife stayed home having a rest. We won't be able to do this once the Christmas programme is over so it was a pleasure to play with this little girl and talk to dad about being a new dad.
