I passed this new building on this morning’s walk around the perimeter of Sydney Park. For an industrial building it looks well designed, with glimpses of huge artworks through those big windows. Its website describes it as “The next-generation, multi-level industrial flagship facility that balances raw industrial style with refined premium aesthetic”.

The landscaping in the foreground looks good, but it’s silent. When it was a wasteland there were birds and frogs. And, at the risk of sounding obsessive, I suspect the drain (lower left) that runs through it is the route of the speckled longfin eel on its return journey to New Caledonia.

Thanks for hosting BobsBlips.
