Before/after the storm

I was awoken rudely at 5:00 a.m. by thunder and didn't get back to sleep! We haven't had any since then but more is promised, so I'm getting a quick blip in before things get too stormy. Also the carpet shampoo fellow is coming today so I don't know how much computer time I'll get!

UPDATE: not sure what the forecasters were smoking. We've got mid-20s temperatures and blazing sunshine! I've had a lovely stroll down to the beach, not a bit of rain, not even any cloud. Silly people.
