One more sleep …

… and we’re off to Auckland for a few days.

The lads put in another long day today.  It was a hive of activity with weird noises coming from under the floor as they crawled around with the pipes connecting the radiators to the two tanks in the “control” room.  There’s still a wee bit to do tomorrow - it’s quite a process.

More washing went on the line when the sun came out around midday, I finished the Christmas cards and we even delivered some around Oamaru, we took the rubbish and recycling to the Resource Recovery Park, I made crackers to take to Auckland for my daughter and started to think about what to pack.

This evening we went to the Rotary Christmas Party at a farm between Enfield and Windsor.  The scenery was stunning, with the mountains in the background.  It was a lovely convivial evening and a chance to talk to lots of different people.
