Goldfinch nibbling a pussy willow bud

It was rather dank and dreary. This goldfinch was rather attracted to the new buds on the pussy willow tree, which is a worrying sign of confused seasons. Rather like bullfinches they seem to like the nutrition provided in the compressed bud.
