Dull and wet

Woken at 5am by loud traffic despite double glazing.  Got back to sleep for a while but got up and took hound for drizzly walk before 8am.

Rain stopped for my cycle ride to the market.  Ventured into Waterstones for ideas for Mr's Christmas present.  Couldn't decide what he'd like.  Chilly wind picked up on my return home.  

Walked hound before lunch as I had Readeasy student in the early afternoon. 

Made roasted butternut squash and carrot to add to red lentil and mushroom risotto, tonight's dinner.

Now putting feet up.
